1st Year Beekeeping Mentorship

I offer a 1 on 1 at home mentorship locally to Erie, Boulder, Longmont, Fredrick, Firestone, Dacono, Fort Lupton, Brighton, Hudson, Keenesburg, Platteville, Mead, Johnstown and other areas within a 30 to 40 minute drive from my home.

 

What is included:​

• Hive set-up and location consultation before getting your bees

• Day 1 Package installation or NUC (Price of mentorship does not include bees or hive equipment) 

• Day 2-4 Queen release and marking (NUCs do not require a Queen release day, schedule will change accordingly)

• Day 10-12 Inspection and first treatment for mites

• Monthly supervised inspections including knowledgeable guidance on hive management, varroa mite load testing and winter preparation in Colorado, May through October 2025

• You can contact me through text, call or email throughout the season with questions and concerns and I will respond as promptly as possible within reason.

• ​Price: $900

• 50% deposit due by March 31, 2025

• The remaining balance will be billed the 1st of each month April-October 2025

• $30 discount if paid in full by March 31, 2025

• Prerequisite: Please sign up with a local bee club or association for a begging beekeeping class.

• Basic 101 instruction is not included with this mentorship.
